A One Hundred Seventeen Year Old Adventure

I just finished reading The Turn of the Screw, a gothic novel written by Henry James in 1898. I read this book for my speculative fiction class. All of the books I have and will read for the class will appear on this page.

This book is filled with twists and turns. Henry James creates a fantastic world in which reality isn't quite right...or is it? This is the first horror/ghost story I've ever read where logic comes into play and where you start to wonder if it could really happen. A genius by what he doesn't add, James drops vague hints and lets the reader do all the work.
