500+ pages? Done!
1070 pages makes for a long, heavy book. After carrying Drums of Autumn around in my purse for a few weeks, I am very glad to be finished, if only for my back's sake. As I am going back to Nashville tomorrow for the spring semester, I figured having a few pounds fewer to pack would be nice.
Drums of Autumn is the fourth book in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. I started reading the series during midterms when I binge watched the Starr's show about a WWII nurse in 18th century Scotland andwanted needed to know what happened next. A couple months and 4000 or so pages later, I know. Unfortunately, even telling telling you which characters are in this novel spoils the first few books, so I'll just have to tell y'all it's good!
I might not know the future as well as Claire, but I definitely see reading the next book in my future!
