A Graphic Novel

I just finished reading Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi. It's her memoir in the form of a graphic novel and it tells a riveting, powerful story about growing up in Iran, discussing difficult topics that she saw in a neat but telling way. I had never considered before what it was like during the Iranian Revolution, when those weren't very religious had to adjust or be killed and how rebellious the people were. It was a fantastic story and well told. It was a graphic novel that truely was both parts. The writing was excellent with an easy to follow style and the graphics were beautiful. It is by far the best graphic novel I have ever read and I would highly recommend it.
